Rodrigo Rangel de Alba has spent the past 35 years in constant motion,
crossing borders, following stories, and seeking moments of stillness
through his lens. A French-Mexican world traveler and photojournalist,
who has achieved what few ever have: he has visited every country in
the world, a feat only around 400 people in the world can claim.
His journey is not one of conquest, but of connection. Through
photography, Rodrigo preserves what often goes unnoticed, faces in
motion, gestures half-formed, expressions caught between moments.
He does not direct or pose. He waits. Observes. Listens.
Rodrigo is the kind of photographer who travels light but sees heavily.
His camera is a bridge, not between continents, but between people.
This month, in our first issue, Light & Paper, is proud to honor Rodrigo
as our ambassador and inaugural Artist of the Month, celebrating a
photographer whose body of work is as expansive as it is intimate.
"THE BEST UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD, IS THE WORLD ITSELF."
Rodrigo Rangel de Alba.
